भवद्विधा महाभागा निषेव्या अर्हसत्तमाः । श्रेयस्कामैर्नृभिर्नित्यं देवाः स्वार्था न साधवः ॥ १०-४८-३० ॥
Exalted souls like you are the true objects of service and the most worshipable authorities for those who desire the highest good in life. Demigods are generally concerned with their own interests, but saintly devotees never are. ॥ 10-48-30 ॥

आप जैसे महात्मा ही सेवा के असली पात्र हैं और जीवन में सर्वोच्च मंगल के इच्छुक लोगों के लिए अत्यन्त पूज्य महाजन हैं। देवतागण सामान्यतया अपने स्वार्थों में लगे रहते हैं किन्तु साधु-भक्त ऐसे नहीं होते। ॥ १०-४८-३० ॥
