गावः सपाला एतेन दावाग्नेः परिमोचिताः । कालियो दमितः सर्प इन्द्रश्च विमदः कृतः ॥ १०-४३-२६ ॥
He saved the cows and the cowherds from a forest fire and subdued the serpent Kāliya. ॥ 10-43-26 ॥

इन्होंने गौवों तथा ग्वालों को जंगल की आग से बचाया और कालिय सर्प का दमन किया। ॥ १०-४३-२६ ॥
