यस्याखिलामीवहभिः सुमङ्गलैर्वाचो विमिश्रा गुणकर्मजन्मभिः । प्राणन्ति शुम्भन्ति पुनन्ति वै जगद्यास्तद्विरक्ताः शवशोभना मताः ।। १०-३८-१२ ।।

sanskrit

All sins are destroyed and all good fortune is created by the Supreme Lord’s qualities, activities and appearances, and words that describe these three things animate, beautify and purify the world. On the other hand, words bereft of His glories are like the decorations on a corpse. ।। 10-38-12 ।।

english translation

भगवान् के गुणों, कर्मों तथा अवतारों से सारे पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं तथा उत्पन्न समस्त सौभाग्य एवं इन तीनों का वर्णन करने वाले शब्द संसार को जीवनदान देते हैं, उसे सुशोभित बनाते हैं और शुद्ध करते हैं। दूसरी ओर, उनकी महिमा से विहीन शब्द शव की सजावट करने जैसे होते हैं। ।। १०-३८-१२ ।।
