हूयन्तामग्नयः सम्यग्ब्राह्मणैर्ब्रह्मवादिभिः । अन्नं बहुविधं तेभ्यो देयं वो धेनुदक्षिणाः ॥ १०-२४-२७ ॥
The brāhmaṇas who are learned in the Vedic mantras must properly invoke the sacrificial fires. Then you should feed the priests with nicely prepared food and reward them with cows and other gifts. ॥ 10-24-27 ॥
english translation
वैदिक मंत्रों में पटु-ब्राह्मणों को चाहिए कि यज्ञ की अग्नियों का ठीक से आवाहन करें। तत्पश्चात् तुम लोग पुरोहितों को उत्तम भोजन कराओ और उन्हें गौवें तथा अन्य भेंटें दान में दो। ॥ १०-२४-२७ ॥
