गाश्चारयन् स गोपालैः सरामो दूरमागतः । बुभुक्षितस्य तस्यान्नं सानुगस्य प्रदीयताम् ।। १०-२३-१७ ।।

sanskrit

He has come a long way with the cowherd boys and Lord Balarāma, tending the cows. Now He is hungry, so some food should be given for Him and His companions. ।। 10-23-17 ।।

english translation

वे ग्वालबालों तथा बलराम के साथ गौवें चराते हुए बहुत दूर निकल आये हैं। अब वे भूखे हैं अतएव आप उन्हें तथा उनके साथियों के लिए कुछ भोजन दे दें। ।। १०-२३-१७ ।।
