Oh ! enemy-subjugator ( Rama ) and then she straight went to the base of the feet of the great-souled Vashishta. ॥ 1-54-6॥

Rama when sage Vashishtha did not consent to part with the wish-fulfilling cow, Vishvaamitra dragged Shabala by force'. ( Sage Shataananda continued the narration of the legend of Vishvamitra ). ॥ 1-54-1॥

King this (cow) is undoubtedly the source of all my actions. Why these useless words? I will never give this wishfulfilling cow'. ( So said Sage Vashishta to King Vishvamitra ) ॥ 1-53-25॥
