    यः कश्चित् कस्य चिद् धर्मो मनुना परिकीर्तितः । स सर्वोऽभिहितो वेदे सर्वज्ञानमयो हि सः ॥ ७ ॥yaH kazcit kasya cid dharmo manunA parikIrtitaH । sa sarvo'bhihito vede sarvajJAnamayo hi saH ॥ 7 ॥Whatever law has been ordained for any (person) by Manu, that has been fully declared in the Veda: for that (sage was) omniscient.

    न्यवर्ततां स्वकं धाम सम्प्रहृष्टौ यथागतम् । विप्राय ददतुः पुत्रान् यथारूपं यथावयः ॥ १०-८९-६२ ॥nyavartatAM svakaM dhAma samprahRSTau yathAgatam । viprAya dadatuH putrAn yathArUpaM yathAvayaH ॥ 10-89-62 ॥Taking the brāhmaṇa’s sons with them, they returned with great delight to Dvārakā by the same path along which they had come. There they presented the brāhmaṇa with his sons, who were in the same infant bodies in which they had been lost. ॥ 10-89-62 ॥

    अपुष्पाः फलवन्तो ये ते वनस्पतयः स्मृताः । पुष्पिणः फलिनश्चैव वृक्षास्तूभयतः स्मृताः ॥ ४७ ॥apuSpAH phalavanto ye te vanaspatayaH smRtAH । puSpiNaH phalinazcaiva vRkSAstUbhayataH smRtAH ॥ 47 ॥(Those trees) which bear fruit without flowers are called vanaspati (lords of the forest); but those which bear both flowers and fruit are called vriksha.

He consistently safeguards the Danavas, yet never extends such protection to us, their adversaries.' ॥ 1-71-12 ॥
