- siva.sh/manusmriti/2/174यद्यस्य विहितं चर्म यत् सूत्रं या च मेखला । यो दण्डो यत्च वसनं तत् तदस्य व्रतेष्वपि ॥ १७४ ॥yadyasya vihitaM carma yat sUtraM yA ca mekhalA । yo daNDo yatca vasanaM tat tadasya vrateSvapi ॥ 174 ॥Whatever dress of skin, sacred thread, girdle, staff, and lower garment are prescribed for a (student at the initiation), the like (must again be used) at the (performance of the) vows.

And those sons of Manu that were Brahmanas devoted themselves to the study of the Vedas.' ॥ 1-70-12 ॥

Having meditated in the middle, the experience of the essence arises.

Sarmishtha thereupon threw her into a well and went home.' ॥ 1-73-12 ॥

He established righteousness among the virtuous and attained unparalleled fame.' ॥ 1-69-46 ॥

' ॥ 1-73-10 ॥
