- siva.sh/manusmriti/3/31ज्ञातिभ्यो द्रविणं दत्त्वा कन्यायै चैव शक्तितः । कन्याप्रदानं स्वाच्छन्द्यादासुरो धर्म उच्यते ॥ ३१ ॥jJAtibhyo draviNaM dattvA kanyAyai caiva zaktitaH । kanyApradAnaM svAcchandyAdAsuro dharma ucyate ॥ 31 ॥When (the bridegroom) receives a maiden, after having given as much wealth as he can afford, to the kinsmen and to the bride herself, according to his own will, that is called the Asura rite.

You are the protector and life-giver, the destruction and creation of all things that exist. ॥ 11-16-1 ॥
