    संस्वेदजा अण्डजा उद्भिदाश च; सरीसृपाः कृमयॊ ऽथाप्सु मत्स्याः तथाश्मानस तृणकाष्ठं च सर्वं; दिष्ट कषये सवां परकृतिं भजन्ते ॥ १-८४-१० ॥saMsvedajA aNDajA udbhidAza ca; sarIsRpAH kRmayò 'thApsu matsyAH tathAzmAnasa tRNakASThaM ca sarvaM; diSTa kaSaye savAM parakRtiM bhajante ॥ 1-84-10 ॥'Creatures born from sweat, eggs, embryos, and sprouts, as well as those dwelling in water and insects—all, indeed, worship their own inherent nature according to their predispositions.' ॥ 1-84-10 ॥

Destiny reigns supreme, rendering both power and effort ultimately futile. Recognizing the supremacy of destiny, the wise, regardless of their circumstances, should neither boast nor despair.' ॥ 1-84-7 ॥

    शुद्ध्येद् विप्रो दशाहेन द्वादशाहेन भूमिपः । वैश्यः पञ्चदशाहेन शूद्रो मासेन शुध्यति ॥ ८३ ॥zuddhyed vipro dazAhena dvAdazAhena bhUmipaH । vaizyaH paJcadazAhena zUdro mAsena zudhyati ॥ 83 ॥A Brahmana shall be pure after ten days, a Kshatriya after twelve, a Vaisya after fifteen, and a Sudra is purified after a month.

    दधि भक्ष्यं च शुक्तेषु सर्वं च दधिसम्भवम् । यानि चैवाभिषूयन्ते पुष्पमूलफलैः शुभैः ॥ १० ॥dadhi bhakSyaM ca zukteSu sarvaM ca dadhisambhavam । yAni caivAbhiSUyante puSpamUlaphalaiH zubhaiH ॥ 10 ॥Among (things turned) sour, sour milk, and all (food) prepared of it may be eaten, likewise what is extracted from pure flowers, roots, and fruit.
