    यॊ नः सवर्गजितः सर्वान यथावृत्तं निवेदयेत अनसूयुर दविजाग्रेभ्यः स लभेन नः सलॊकताम ॥ १-८८-२५ ॥yò naH savargajitaH sarvAna yathAvRttaM nivedayeta anasUyura davijAgrebhyaH sa labhena naH salòkatAma ॥ 1-88-25 ॥'Whoever among us has conquered heaven and recounts to the foremost of the twice-born (Brahmanas) all as it truly happened, without envy or malice, shall attain our company in the same realm.' ॥ 1-88-25 ॥

    अदाम अहं पृथिवीं बराह्मणेभ्यः; पूर्णाम इमाम अखिलां वाहनस्य गॊभिः सुवर्णेन धनैश च मुख्यैस; तत्रासन गाः शतम अर्बुदानि ॥ १-८८-२३ ॥adAma ahaM pRthivIM barAhmaNebhyaH; pUrNAma imAma akhilAM vAhanasya gòbhiH suvarNena dhanaiza ca mukhyaisa; tatrAsana gAH zatama arbudAni ॥ 1-88-23 ॥'I bestowed the entire earth, filled with all its wealth, to the Brahmanas, along with cows, gold, and the finest of treasures. There, a hundred crores of cows were present.' ॥ 1-88-23 ॥

    सर्वाम इमां पृथिवीं निर्जिगाय; परस्थे बद्ध्वा हय अददं बराह्मणेभ्यः मेध्यान अश्वान एकशफान सुरूपांस; तदा देवाः पुण्यभाजॊ भवन्ति ॥ १-८८-२२ ॥sarvAma imAM pRthivIM nirjigAya; parasthe baddhvA haya adadaM barAhmaNebhyaH medhyAna azvAna ekazaphAna surUpAMsa; tadA devAH puNyabhAjò bhavanti ॥ 1-88-22 ॥'After conquering the entire earth, I generously gifted clothes to Brahmanas and also presented a hundred splendid horses suitable for sacrificial rituals. Such virtuous deeds earned favor from the gods for those who performed them.' ॥ 1-88-22 ॥

    [य] ययातिर अस्मि नहुषस्य पुत्रः; पूरॊः पिता सार्वभौमस तव इहासम गुह्यम अर्थं मामकेभ्यॊ बरवीमि; मातामहॊ ऽहं भवतां परकाशः ॥ १-८८-२१ ॥[ya] yayAtira asmi nahuSasya putraH; pUròH pitA sArvabhaumasa tava ihAsama guhyama arthaM mAmakebhyò baravImi; mAtAmahò 'haM bhavatAM parakAzaH ॥ 1-88-21 ॥'Yayati replied, "I am Yayati, son of Nahusha. I am your ancestor, the sovereign ruler of all. I am revealing a secret matter to my descendants: I am your great-grandfather, the illuminator of your lineage."' ॥ 1-88-21 ॥
