    आत्माऽऽत्मजाप्तगृहवित्तजनेषु सक्तैर्दुष्प्रापणाय गुणसङ्गविवर्जिताय । मुक्तात्मभिः स्वहृदये परिभाविताय ज्ञानात्मने भगवते नम ईश्वराय ॥ ८-३-१८ ॥AtmA''tmajAptagRhavittajaneSu saktairduSprApaNAya guNasaGgavivarjitAya । muktAtmabhiH svahRdaye paribhAvitAya jJAnAtmane bhagavate nama IzvarAya ॥ 8-3-18 ॥My Lord, those who are completely freed from material contamination always meditate upon You within the cores of their hearts. You are extremely difficult to attain for those like me who are too attached to mental concoction, home, relatives, friends, money, servants and assistants. You are the Supreme Personality of Godhead, uncontaminated by the modes of nature. You are the reservoir of all enlightenment, the supreme controller. I therefore offer my respectful obeisances unto You. ॥ 8-3-18 ॥

    गुणारणिच्छन्नचिदूष्मपाय तत्क्षोभविस्फूर्जितमानसाय । नैष्कर्म्यभावेन विवर्जितागमस्वयम्प्रकाशाय नमस्करोमि ॥ ८-३-१६ ॥guNAraNicchannacidUSmapAya tatkSobhavisphUrjitamAnasAya । naiSkarmyabhAvena vivarjitAgamasvayamprakAzAya namaskaromi ॥ 8-3-16 ॥My Lord, as the fire in araṇi wood is covered, You and Your unlimited knowledge are covered by the material modes of nature. Your mind, however, is not attentive to the activities of the modes of nature. Those who are advanced in spiritual knowledge are not subject to the regulative principles directed in the Vedic literatures. Because such advanced souls are transcendental, You personally appear in their pure minds. Therefore I offer my respectful obeisances unto You. ॥ 8-3-16 ॥

    अत्रैव मायाधमनावतारे ह्यस्य प्रपञ्चस्य बहिः स्फुटस्य । कृत्स्नस्य चान्तर्जठरे जनन्या मायात्वमेव प्रकटीकृतं ते ॥ १०-१४-१६ ॥atraiva mAyAdhamanAvatAre hyasya prapaJcasya bahiH sphuTasya । kRtsnasya cAntarjaThare jananyA mAyAtvameva prakaTIkRtaM te ॥ 10-14-16 ॥My dear Lord, in this incarnation You have proved that You are the supreme controller of Māyā. Although You are now within this universe, the whole universal creation is within Your transcendental body — a fact You demonstrated by exhibiting the universe within Your abdomen before Your mother, Yaśodā. ॥ 10-14-16 ॥

    नमो नमस्तेऽखिलकारणाय निष्कारणायाद्भुतकारणाय । सर्वागमाम्नायमहार्णवाय नमोऽपवर्गाय परायणाय ॥ ८-३-१५ ॥namo namaste'khilakAraNAya niSkAraNAyAdbhutakAraNAya । sarvAgamAmnAyamahArNavAya namo'pavargAya parAyaNAya ॥ 8-3-15 ॥My Lord, You are the cause of all causes, but You Yourself have no cause. Therefore You are the wonderful cause of everything. I offer my respectful obeisances unto You, who are the shelter of the Vedic knowledge contained in the śāstras like the Pañcarātras and Vedānta-sūtra, which are Your representations, and who are the source of the paramparā system. Because it is You who can give liberation, You are the only shelter for all transcendentalists. Let me offer my respectful obeisances unto You. ॥ 8-3-15 ॥

    क्षेत्रज्ञाय नमस्तुभ्यं सर्वाध्यक्षाय साक्षिणे । पुरुषायात्ममूलाय मूलप्रकृतये नमः ॥ ८-३-१३ ॥kSetrajJAya namastubhyaM sarvAdhyakSAya sAkSiNe । puruSAyAtmamUlAya mUlaprakRtaye namaH ॥ 8-3-13 ॥I beg to offer my respectful obeisances unto You, who are the Supersoul, the superintendent of everything, and the witness of all that occurs. You are the Supreme Person, the origin of material nature and of the total material energy. You are also the owner of the material body. Therefore, You are the supreme complete. I offer my respectful obeisances unto You. ॥ 8-3-13 ॥

    ते वयं धर्मविभ्रष्टं स्वधर्मे परमे स्थिताः । भरताज्ञां पुरस्कृत्य निगृह्णीमो यथाविधि ॥ ४-१८-११te vayaM dharmavibhraSTaM svadharme parame sthitAH । bharatAjJAM puraskRtya nigRhNImo yathAvidhi ॥ 4-18-11'By the command of Bharata ,all of us are devoted to our duty of upholding dharma and virtue and duly punish those who deviate from the path of dharma. ॥ 4-18-11॥

    तस्मिन्नृपतिशार्दूले भरते धर्मवत्सले । पालयत्यखिलां भूमिं कश्चरेद्धर्मनिग्रहम् ॥ ४-१८-१०tasminnRpatizArdUle bharate dharmavatsale । pAlayatyakhilAM bhUmiM kazcareddharmanigraham ॥ 4-18-10'Who can stray from the path of dharma when the whole world is ruled by Bharata, a tiger among kings, and a lover of dharma? ॥ 4-18-10॥

    तस्य धर्मकृतादेशा वयमन्ये च पार्थिवाः । चरामो वसुधां कृत्स्नां धर्मसन्तानमिच्छवः ॥ ४-१८-९tasya dharmakRtAdezA vayamanye ca pArthivAH । carAmo vasudhAM kRtsnAM dharmasantAnamicchavaH ॥ 4-18-9'Following his command, in confirmity with dharma we and the other kings also move all over the entire world desirous of promoting dharma. ॥ 4-18-9॥

    नयश्च विनयश्चोभौ यस्मिन्सत्यं च सुस्थितम् । विक्रमश्च यथा दृष्टस्स राजा देशकालवित् ॥ ४-१८-८nayazca vinayazcobhau yasminsatyaM ca susthitam । vikramazca yathA dRSTassa rAjA dezakAlavit ॥ 4-18-8'Bharata in whom justice and discipline, truth and courage along with the knowledge of time and place for action are firmly rooted is king ( of this earth ). ॥ 4-18-8॥

    तां पालयति धर्मात्मा भरतस्सत्यवागृजुः । धर्मकामार्थतत्त्वज्ञो निग्रहानुग्रहे रतः ॥ ४-१८-७tAM pAlayati dharmAtmA bharatassatyavAgRjuH । dharmakAmArthatattvajJo nigrahAnugrahe rataH ॥ 4-18-7'Bharata, righteous, truthful, upright, knower of dharma, artha and kama and dispenser of punishment and rewards, rules this earth. ॥ 4-18-7॥
