The place must be level and not too high or low. There one should sit very comfortably, being steady and equipoised, keeping his body straight, and thus begin chanting the Vedic praṇava. ॥ 7-15-31 ॥

Indeed, being extremely merciful, You incessantly try to deliver me. By your partial feature as Paramātmā, You are situated in the hearts of all embodied beings. You are celebrated as direct transcendental knowledge, and You are unlimited. I offer my respectful obeisances unto You, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. ॥ 8-3-17 ॥

To maintain the body and soul together, he should beg as much as he needs for the bare necessities of life. ॥ 7-15-30 ॥
