यश्चित्तविजये यत्तः स्यान्निःसङ्गोऽपरिग्रहः । एको विविक्तशरणो भिक्षुर्भिक्षामिताशनः ।। ७-१५-३० ।।

sanskrit

One who desires to conquer the mind must leave the company of his family and live in a solitary place, free from contaminated association. To maintain the body and soul together, he should beg as much as he needs for the bare necessities of life. ।। 7-15-30 ।।

english translation

जो मन पर विजय पाने का इच्छुक हो उसे अपने परिवार का साथ छोड़ते हुए दूषित संगित से मुक्त एकान्त स्थान में रहना चाहिए। अपने शरीर-पोषण के लिए उसे उतना ही माँगना चाहिए जितने से जीवन की न्यूनतम आवश्यकताएँ पूरी हो जायँ। ।। ७-१५-३० ।।
