अभिगम्य विशालाक्षी तस्थौ शोकपरिप्लुता । तां कृशां दीनवदनां मलिनाम्बरधारिणीम् ॥ ५-२४-१९
- reached there. The large-eyed (Sita), drowned in sorrow, stood there (near the simsupa tree). She was dressed in soiled clothes and emaciated with a dejected look on her face. ॥ 5-24-19॥
