गृहाण सर्वलोकस्य गुप्तये रघुनन्दन । विद्याद्वयमधीयाने यशश्चाप्यतुलं भुवि । पितामहसुते ह्येते विद्ये तेजःसमन्विते ॥ १-२२-१८

- The teachings that are kept safe from the world, Oh ! Raghava, these two radiant sciences are daughters of the grandsire Brahma. If you pursue these two sciences, you will get unequalled fame. - ॥ 1-22-18॥

english translation

gRhANa sarvalokasya guptaye raghunandana । vidyAdvayamadhIyAne yazazcApyatulaM bhuvi । pitAmahasute hyete vidye tejaHsamanvite ॥ 1-22-18
