तथा पौरजनस्यापि कर्तव्याश्च सुविस्तराः । आगतानां सुदूराच्च पार्थिवानां पृथक् पृथक् ॥ १-१३-११
So also, accommodation is to be given for city dwellers too, in very spacious housing, and severally for the kings arriving from distant places.॥ 1-13-11॥
english translation
tathA paurajanasyApi kartavyAzca suvistarAH । AgatAnAM sudUrAcca pArthivAnAM pRthak pRthak ॥ 1-13-11
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवाजिवारणशलाश्च तथा शय्यागृहाणि च । भटानां महदावास वैदेशिकनिवासिनाम् ॥ १-१३-१२
For horses stables, reposing stalls for elephants, like that great billets for soldiers may be built for those foreign-country dwellers arriving in here on their horses and elephants along with their soldiers. ॥ 1-13-12॥
english translation
vAjivAraNazalAzca tathA zayyAgRhANi ca । bhaTAnAM mahadAvAsa vaidezikanivAsinAm ॥ 1-13-12
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआवासा बहुभक्ष्या वै सर्वकामैरुपस्थिताः । तथा पौरजनस्यापि जनस्य बहुशोभनम् ॥ १-१३-१३
In the same manner let widely spread residential accommodation be furnished with many items of food and all kinds of entertainment be provided for people from other lands. ॥ 1-13-13॥
english translation
AvAsA bahubhakSyA vai sarvakAmairupasthitAH । tathA paurajanasyApi janasya bahuzobhanam ॥ 1-13-13
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदातव्यमन्नं विधिवत्सत्कृत्य न तु लीलया । सर्वे वर्णा यथा पूजां प्राप्नुवन्ति सुसत्कृताः ॥ १-१३-१४
Food is to be given dutifully, treating all of them well but not just illusively, and the people of all the castes shall be well honoured as they would get their due respect ॥ 1-13-14॥
english translation
dAtavyamannaM vidhivatsatkRtya na tu lIlayA । sarve varNA yathA pUjAM prApnuvanti susatkRtAH ॥ 1-13-14
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन चावज्ञा प्रयोक्तव्या कामक्रोधवशादपि । यज्ञकर्मसु ये व्यग्राः पुरुषाः शिल्पिनस्तथा ॥ १-१३-१५
- and no disrespect be shown, even when overcome by passion or anger at anyone. The people deeply immersed in performing sacrificerelated activities and sculptors .- ॥ 1-13-15॥

na cAvajJA prayoktavyA kAmakrodhavazAdapi । yajJakarmasu ye vyagrAH puruSAH zilpinastathA ॥ 1-13-15
