राज्यभ्रष्टेन दीनेन तापसेन गतायुषा । किं करिष्यसि रामेण मानुषेणाल्पतेजसा ॥ ३-५५-२१
Of what use is Rama who has lost his kingdom, who is depressed and leads an ascetic life and who is a short-lived, lack lustre and a human being. ॥ 3-55-21॥
english translation
rAjyabhraSTena dInena tApasena gatAyuSA । kiM kariSyasi rAmeNa mAnuSeNAlpatejasA ॥ 3-55-21
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभजस्व सीते मामेव भर्ताहं सदृशस्तव । यौवनं ह्यध्रुवं भीरु रमस्वेह मया सह ॥ ३-५५-२२
Oh ! Sita take refuge only in me. I am a befitting husband to you. Oh ! timid one youth is impermanent. Enjoy (your life) with me while it lasts. ॥ 3-55-22॥
english translation
bhajasva sIte mAmeva bhartAhaM sadRzastava । yauvanaM hyadhruvaM bhIru ramasveha mayA saha ॥ 3-55-22
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदर्शने माकृथा बुद्धिं राघवस्य वरानने । कास्य शक्तिरिहागन्तुमपि सीते मनोरथैः ॥ ३-५५-२३
Oh ! lovely Sita, give up the thought of seeing Rama. Where does he possess the power to reach this place even on the mental plane? ॥ 3-55-23॥
english translation
darzane mAkRthA buddhiM rAghavasya varAnane । kAsya zaktirihAgantumapi sIte manorathaiH ॥ 3-55-23
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन शक्यो वायुराकाशे पाशैर्बद्धुं महाजवः । दीप्यमानस्य वाप्यग्नेर्गृहीतुं विमलां शिखाम् ॥ ३-५५-२४
It is not possible to bind the wind blowing at high speed in the sky. Similarly it is not possible to catch the brilliant glow of flaming fire. ॥ 3-55-24॥
english translation
na zakyo vAyurAkAze pAzairbaddhuM mahAjavaH । dIpyamAnasya vApyagnergRhItuM vimalAM zikhAm ॥ 3-55-24
hk transliteration by Sanscriptत्रयाणामपि लोकानां न तं पश्यामि शोभने । विक्रमेण नयेद्यस्त्वां मद्बाहुपरिपालिताम् ॥ ३-५५-२५
Oh ! lovely lady, I do not see any one in these three worlds who can, by his valour, take you away from me guarded by my arms. ॥ 3-55-25॥

trayANAmapi lokAnAM na taM pazyAmi zobhane । vikrameNa nayedyastvAM madbAhuparipAlitAm ॥ 3-55-25
