Ramayana
चकार तद्वचस्तस्या मम भर्ता दृढव्रतः । दद्यान्न प्रतिगृह्णीयात्सत्यं ब्रूयान्न चानृतम् ॥ ३-४७-१७
- 'Be it so' and carried out her words with firm resolution. 'One should give and never take one should speak the truth and nothing but he truth.' -॥ 3-47-17॥

cakAra tadvacastasyA mama bhartA dRDhavrataH । dadyAnna pratigRhNIyAtsatyaM brUyAnna cAnRtam ॥ 3-47-17
