स पराप्य राजानम अमित्रतापनस; ततॊ ऽबरवीन मेघमहौघनिःस्वनः वैश्यॊ ऽसमि नाम्नाहम अरिष्टनेमिर; गॊसंख्य आसं कुरुपुंगवानाम ॥ ४-९-४ ॥

sanskrit

'Having come before the king, that scourge of enemies, Sahadeva spoke with a voice deep as the thundercloud’s roar: "I am a Vaisya, Arishtanemi by name. I serve as a cowherd to those mighty bulls of the Kuru race, the sons of Pandu."' ॥ 4-9-4 ॥

english translation

sa parApya rAjAnama amitratApanasa; tatò 'baravIna meghamahaughaniHsvanaH vaizyò 'sami nAmnAhama ariSTanemira; gòsaMkhya AsaM kurupuMgavAnAma ॥ 4-9-4 ॥
