हयांश च नागांश च रथांश च शीघ्रं; पदातिसंघांश च ततः परवीरान परस्थापयाम आस सुतस्य हेतॊर; विचित्रशस्त्राभरणॊपपन्नान ।। ४-६३-१२ ।।
'Saying this, the king swiftly dispatched, for the sake of his son, horses, elephants, chariots, and a large body of foot-soldiers, all equipped and adorned with various weapons and ornaments.' ।। 4-63-12 ।।

एवं स राजा मत्स्यानां विराटॊ ऽकषौहिणीपतिः वयादिदेशाथ तां कषिप्रं वाहिनीं चतुरग्निणीम ।। ४-६३-१३ ।।
'Thus did Virata, king of the Matsyas and master of a mighty army, promptly send forth a large division composed of the four kinds of troops.' ।। 4-63-13 ।।
कुमारम आशु जानीत यदि जीवति वा न वा यस्य यन्ता गतः षण्ढॊ मन्ये ऽहं न स जीवति ।। ४-६३-१४ ।।
'Having done so, he said, 'Go without delay and ascertain whether the prince still lives! For my own part, I fear that he who has a person of the neuter gender as his charioteer may not have survived.'' ।। 4-63-14 ।।
'Vaisampayana continued, 'Then King Yudhishthira, the just, smiling, spoke to the distressed King Virata: 'O monarch, if Vrihannala serves as thy son’s charioteer, the enemy will never seize thy cattle today.'' ।। 4-63-15 ।।
