'Among all gods and Asuras, who can stand firm against the straight arrows discharged from my bow?' ।। 4-43-11 ।।

'Let my flying arrows, winged and tapered in the middle, create a spectacle like fireflies darting across the sky. Though Partha is as hard as Indra’s thunderbolt and possessed of the might of the chief of the celestials, I shall surely overwhelm him—just as one drives off elephants with burning brands.' ।। 4-43-12 ।।

'Irresistible like fire, fed by the fuel of swords, darts, and arrows, the blazing Pandava-fire that consumes foes will be quenched by none other than myself—like a mighty cloud relentlessly showering arrows.' ।। 4-43-13 ।।
