अन्तरा छिद्यमानानां पुङ्खानां वयतिशीर्यताम शलभानाम इवाकाशे परचारः संप्रदृश्यताम ॥ ४-४३-११ ॥
'Among all gods and Asuras, who can stand firm against the straight arrows discharged from my bow?' ॥ 4-43-11 ॥
english translation
antarA chidyamAnAnAM puGkhAnAM vayatizIryatAma zalabhAnAma ivAkAze paracAraH saMpradRzyatAma ॥ 4-43-11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइन्द्राशनिसमस्पर्शं महेन्द्रसमतेजसम अर्दयिष्याम्य अहं पार्थम उल्काभिर इव कुञ्जरम ॥ ४-४३-१२ ॥
'Let my flying arrows, winged and tapered in the middle, create a spectacle like fireflies darting across the sky. Though Partha is as hard as Indra’s thunderbolt and possessed of the might of the chief of the celestials, I shall surely overwhelm him—just as one drives off elephants with burning brands.' ॥ 4-43-12 ॥
english translation
indrAzanisamasparzaM mahendrasamatejasama ardayiSyAmya ahaM pArthama ulkAbhira iva kuJjarama ॥ 4-43-12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतम अग्निम इव दुर्धर्षम असि शक्तिशरेन्धनम पाण्डवाग्निम अहं दीप्तं परदहन्तम इवाहितान ॥ ४-४३-१३ ॥
'Irresistible like fire, fed by the fuel of swords, darts, and arrows, the blazing Pandava-fire that consumes foes will be quenched by none other than myself—like a mighty cloud relentlessly showering arrows.' ॥ 4-43-13 ॥

tama agnima iva durdharSama asi zaktizarendhanama pANDavAgnima ahaM dIptaM paradahantama ivAhitAna ॥ 4-43-13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअव वेगपुरॊ वातॊ रथौघस्तनयित्नुमान शरधारॊ महामेघः शमयिष्यामि पाण्डवम ॥ ४-४३-१४ ॥
'The thunder of countless chariots will roar, and the speed of my horses shall be like the rushing wind.' ॥ 4-43-14 ॥

ava vegapurò vAtò rathaughastanayitnumAna zaradhArò mahAmeghaH zamayiSyAmi pANDavama ॥ 4-43-14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमत्कार्मुकविनिर्मुक्ताः पार्थम आशीविषॊपमाः शराः समभिसर्पन्तु वल्मीकम इव पन्नगाः ॥ ४-४३-१५ ॥
'From my bow, my arrows—swift and venomous like snakes—will pierce Partha’s body as a serpent pierces an anthill.' ॥ 4-43-15 ॥
