राजानं राजपुत्रं वा संवर्तयति यः सदा अमात्यः पण्डितॊ भूत्वा स चिरं तिष्ठति शरियम ॥ ४-४-३२ ॥
'That learned courtier who continually pleases the king and his heir with agreeable speech succeeds in becoming a favored resident of the royal court.' ॥ 4-4-32 ॥
