[य] कर्माण्य उक्तानि युष्माभिर यानि तानि करिष्यथ मम चापि यथाबुद्धिरुचितानि विनिश्चयात ॥ ४-४-१ ॥

sanskrit

'॥ Yudhishthira said:॥ “The tasks that you all have described — those you shall indeed carry out. As for me, I too shall do whatever seems appropriate, to the best of my understanding and judgment.”' ॥ 4-4-1 ॥

english translation

[ya] karmANya uktAni yuSmAbhira yAni tAni kariSyatha mama cApi yathAbuddhirucitAni vinizcayAta ॥ 4-4-1 ॥

'Let our priest, accompanied by the charioteers and cooks, proceed to the palace of Drupada and there continue the performance of our Agnihotra rituals.' ॥ 4-4-2 ॥

'Let Indrasena and the others take the empty chariots and swiftly journey to Dwaravati — such is my desire.' ॥ 4-4-3 ॥

'And let them all declare, 'We do not know where the Pandavas have gone, for they left us behind at the lake of Dwaitavana.'' ॥ 4-4-5 ॥
