सैरन्ध्र्यॊ ऽरक्षिता लॊके भुजिष्याः सन्ति भारत नैवम अन्याः सत्रियॊ यान्ति इति लॊकस्य निश्चयः ॥ ४-३-१६ ॥
'Draupadi replied, 'There exists a class of women called Sairindhris who enter the service of others, though respectable women do not typically pursue such work.' ॥ 4-3-16 ॥
english translation
sairandhryò 'rakSitA lòke bhujiSyAH santi bhArata naivama anyAH satriyò yAnti iti lòkasya nizcayaH ॥ 4-3-16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसाहं बरुवाणा सैरन्ध्री कुशला केशकर्मणि आत्मगुप्ता चरिष्यामि यन मां तवम अनुपृच्छसि ॥ ४-३-१७ ॥
'I shall present myself as a Sairindhri skilled in hairdressing. O Bharata, when questioned by the king, I will say that I served as Draupadi's personal attendant in Yudhishthira's household.' ॥ 4-3-17 ॥
english translation
sAhaM baruvANA sairandhrI kuzalA kezakarmaNi AtmaguptA cariSyAmi yana mAM tavama anupRcchasi ॥ 4-3-17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुदेष्णां परत्युपस्थास्ये राजभार्यां यशस्विनीम सा रक्षिष्यति मां पराप्तां मा ते भूद दुःखम ईदृशम ॥ ४-३-१८ ॥
'In this disguise, I shall spend my days serving the renowned Sudeshna, the king's wife. Surely, once she employs me, she will treat me well. Do not grieve so deeply, O king.' ॥ 4-3-18 ॥

sudeSNAM paratyupasthAsye rAjabhAryAM yazasvinIma sA rakSiSyati mAM parAptAM mA te bhUda duHkhama IdRzama ॥ 4-3-18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscript[य] कल्याणं भाषसे कृष्णे कुले जाता यथा वदेत न पापम अभिजानासि साधु साध्वी वरते सथिता ॥ ४-३-१९ ॥
'Yudhishthira said, 'O Krishna, you speak wisely. But O beautiful one, you were born into a noble family. Pure as you are, and devoted to virtuous conduct, you are unacquainted with evil. Therefore, conduct yourself in such a manner that wicked men with corrupt hearts may not find pleasure in looking upon you.'' ॥ 4-3-19 ॥
