सुफलश चित्रकॊशश च किङ्किणी सायकॊ महान कस्य हेमत्सरुर दिव्यः खड्गः परमनिर्व्रणः ॥ ४-३८-३१ ॥
'Whose is this great arrow, adorned with a splendid shaft, housed in a variegated quiver, and fitted with tinkling bells? Whose is this divine sword, flawless in its edge, with a golden hilt and a sheath shining like gold?' ॥ 4-38-31 ॥

suphalaza citrakòzaza ca kiGkiNI sAyakò mahAna kasya hematsarura divyaH khaDgaH paramanirvraNaH ॥ 4-38-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकस्यायं विमलः खड्गॊ गव्ये कॊशे समर्पितः हेमत्सरुर अनाधृष्यॊ नैषध्यॊ भारसाधनः ॥ ४-३८-३२ ॥
'Whose is this gleaming scimitar, with a polished blade and golden hilt—crafted in the land of the Nishadas, unbreakable and unmatched in battle?' ॥ 4-38-32 ॥

kasyAyaM vimalaH khaDgò gavye kòze samarpitaH hematsarura anAdhRSyò naiSadhyò bhArasAdhanaH ॥ 4-38-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptरसयह उवाच । कस्य पाञ्च नखे कॊशे सायकॊ हेमविग्रहः परमाण रूपसंपन्नः पीत आकाशसंनिभः ॥ ४-३८-३३ ॥
'Whose is this arrow, sheathed in a quiver made of leopard claws, its shaft entirely golden, perfect in form and proportion, and resembling the hue of yellow sky?' ॥ 4-38-33 ॥

rasayaha uvAca । kasya pAJca nakhe kòze sAyakò hemavigrahaH paramANa rUpasaMpannaH pIta AkAzasaMnibhaH ॥ 4-38-33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकस्य हेममये कॊशे सुतप्ते पावकप्रभे निस्त्रिंशॊ ऽयं गुरुः पीतः सैक्यः परमनिर्व्रणः ॥ ४-३८-३४ ॥
'Whose is this heavy, well-tempered, broad-bladed sword—just a little longer than the width of thirty fingers—its edge burnished by repeated clashes with other weapons, sheathed in a golden scabbard and gleaming like fire?' ॥ 4-38-34 ॥

kasya hemamaye kòze sutapte pAvakaprabhe nistriMzò 'yaM guruH pItaH saikyaH paramanirvraNaH ॥ 4-38-34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिर्दिशस्व यथातत्त्वं मया पृष्टा बृहन्नडे विस्मयॊ मे परॊ जातॊ दृष्ट्वा सर्वम इदं महत ॥ ४-३८-३५ ॥
'Tell me truly, O Vrihannala, whose weapons these are. I am filled with wonder at the sight of such magnificent arms.' ॥ 4-38-35 ॥

nirdizasva yathAtattvaM mayA pRSTA bRhannaDe vismayò me parò jAtò dRSTvA sarvama idaM mahata ॥ 4-38-35 ॥
