[बृहन] नैष पूर्वैः समृतॊ धर्मः कषत्रियस्य पलायनम शरेयस ते मरणं युद्धे न भीतस्य पलायनम ।। ४-३६-२६ ।।
'But Vrihannala cried out after him, “This is not the way of the brave! A Kshatriya must not flee the battlefield. Better to die fighting than to run away in fear!”' ।। 4-36-26 ।।
