धर्मार्थसहितं शलक्ष्णं तत्त्वतश च स हेतुमत तत्रानुरूपं भीष्मेण ममाप्य अत्र गिरं शृणु ॥ ४-२८-२ ॥
'What Bhishma has said is in harmony with both righteousness and advantage, spoken gently and truthfully, with sound reasoning. In that spirit, hear now my own words, which I believe are fitting to the matter at hand.' ॥ 4-28-2 ॥
english translation
dharmArthasahitaM zalakSNaM tattvataza ca sa hetumata tatrAnurUpaM bhISmeNa mamApya atra giraM zRNu ॥ 4-28-2 ॥
