अपर्याप्तं तदस्माकं बलं भीष्माभिरक्षितम् । पर्याप्तं त्विदमेतेषां बलं पार्थिवसत्तमाः॥६-४७-६॥
That force of ours, though protected by Bhīṣma, is nevertheless insufficient; whereas their force is sufficient—O best of kings.
english translation
संस्थानाः शूरसेनाश्च वेणिकाः कुकुरास्तथा । आरेवकास्त्रिगर्ताश्च मद्रका यवनास्तथा॥६-४७-७॥
There were contingents of the Saṃsthānas, the Śūrasenas, the Veṇikas, and the Kukuras; likewise the Ārevakas, the Trigartas, the Madrakas, and also the Yavanas.

शत्रुंजयेन सहितास्तथा दुःशासनेन च । विकर्णेन च वीरेण तथा नन्दोपनन्दकैः॥६-४७-८॥
Together with Śatruṃjaya, and also with Duḥśāsana; with the hero Vikarṇa as well, and likewise with Nanda and Upananda.

चित्रसेनेन सहिताः सहिताः पाणिभद्रकैः । भीष्ममेवाभिरक्षन्तु सह सैन्यपुरस्कृताः॥६-४७-९॥
Accompanied by Citrasena, and accompanied by the Pāṇibhadrakas, let them protect Bhīṣma alone, with their troops placed in the forefront.

ततो द्रोणश्च भीष्मश्च तव पुत्रश्च मारिष । अव्यूहन्त महाव्यूहं पाण्डूनां प्रतिबाधने॥६-४७-१०॥
Then Droṇa, Bhīṣma, and your son, O venerable one, arranged a great battle-formation for the purpose of checking the Pāṇḍavas.
