एतद्योनीनि भूतानि सर्वाणीत्युपधारय । अहं कृत्स्नस्य जगतः प्रभवः प्रलयस्तथा॥६-२९-६॥
Understand that all beings have these as their source; I am the origin of the entire world, and likewise its dissolution.
english translation
मत्तः परतरं नान्यत्किंचिदस्ति धनंजय । मयि सर्वमिदं प्रोतं सूत्रे मणिगणा इव॥६-२९-७॥
O Dhanañjaya, there is nothing whatsoever higher than Me. All this is strung upon Me, as clusters of gems are strung upon a thread.
english translation
रसोऽहमप्सु कौन्तेय प्रभास्मि शशिसूर्ययोः । प्रणवः सर्ववेदेषु शब्दः खे पौरुषं नृषु॥६-२९-८॥
O Kaunteya, I am the taste in waters; I am the radiance in the moon and the sun; I am the praṇava (Oṃ) in all the Vedas; I am sound in space, and human excellence in persons.
english translation
पुण्यो गन्धः पृथिव्यां च तेजश्चास्मि विभावसौ । जीवनं सर्वभूतेषु तपश्चास्मि तपस्विषु॥६-२९-९॥
I am the pure fragrance in the earth, and I am the brilliance in fire; I am the life-principle in all beings, and I am austerity in ascetics.
english translation
बीजं मां सर्वभूतानां विद्धि पार्थ सनातनम् । बुद्धिर्बुद्धिमतामस्मि तेजस्तेजस्विनामहम्॥६-२९-१०॥
Know Me, O Pārtha, as the eternal seed of all beings. I am the intelligence of the intelligent, and I am the vigor of the vigorous.
