आपूर्यमाणमचलप्रतिष्ठं समुद्रमापः प्रविशन्ति यद्वत् । तद्वत्कामा यं प्रविशन्ति सर्वे स शान्तिमाप्नोति न कामकामी॥६-२४-७०॥
As waters enter the ocean—ever being filled yet remaining steady and unmoved—so all desires enter the one who is established in inner stability. Such a person attains peace, not the one who pursues desires as an end in itself.
