षष्ठो हरिगिरिर्नाम षडेते पर्वतोत्तमाः । तेषामन्तरविष्कम्भो द्विगुणः प्रविभागशः॥६-१३-११॥
The sixth is named Harigiri. These are the six foremost mountains; and, in proper sequence, the breadth between them is twice that of the preceding division.

औद्भिदं प्रथमं वर्षं द्वितीयं वेणुमण्डलम् । तृतीयं वै रथाकारं चतुर्थं पालनं स्मृतम्॥६-१३-१२॥
Audbhida is the first varṣa; the second is Veṇumaṇḍala. The third is indeed Rathākāra, and the fourth is remembered as Pālana.

धृतिमत्पञ्चमं वर्षं षष्ठं वर्षं प्रभाकरम् । सप्तमं कापिलं वर्षं सप्तैते वर्षपुञ्जकाः॥६-१३-१३॥
Dhṛtimat is the fifth varṣa; the sixth varṣa is Prabhākara. The seventh varṣa is Kāpila—these are the seven groups of varṣas.

एतेषु देवगन्धर्वाः प्रजाश्च जगतीश्वर । विहरन्ति रमन्ते च न तेषु म्रियते जनः॥६-१३-१४॥
In these regions the gods and gandharvas, and also the inhabitants, O lord of the world, move about and take delight; among them no person dies.

न तेषु दस्यवः सन्ति म्लेच्छजात्योऽपि वा नृप । गौरप्रायो जनः सर्वः सुकुमारश्च पार्थिव॥६-१३-१५॥
Among them there are no dasyus, nor even people described as of mleccha-jāti, O king. The population is largely fair-complexioned and generally delicate in constitution, O ruler.
