निस्तोदनं स्तम्भनरोमहर्षसङ्घर्षपारुष्यशिरोभितापाः । विशुष्कभावः शिशिराश्रुता च वाताभिपन्ने नयने भवन्ति ॥६॥

Pricking pain, stiffness, horripilation, irritation, roughness, headache, dryness, cold lachrymations, and other such symptoms manifest in the eye afflicted by the deranged Vata.

बिगड़े हुए वात से प्रभावित आंख में चुभन जैसा दर्द, अकड़न, घबराहट, जलन, खुरदरापन, सिरदर्द, सूखापन, ठंडे आंसू आना और ऐसे ही अन्य लक्षण प्रकट होते हैं।

दाहप्रपाकौ शिशिराभिनन्दा धूमायनं बाष्पसमुच्छ्रयश्च । उष्णाश्रुता पीतकनेत्रता च पित्ताभिपन्ने नयने भवन्ति ॥७॥

Burning sensation, suppuration, longing for cold (soothing) applications, a smoky and misty appearance, hot lachrymations, and a yellowish hue of the eyes are the symptoms that manifest in an eye afflicted by the deranged Pitta.

जलन, पीप, ठण्डे (सुखदायक) लेप की चाह, धुएँ जैसा और धुंधला दिखना, गर्म आँसू आना, तथा आँखों का पीला पड़ना, ये ऐसे लक्षण हैं जो विकृत पित्त से प्रभावित आँखों में प्रकट होते हैं।

उष्णाभिनन्दा गुरुताऽक्षिशोफः कण्डूपदेहौ सितताऽतिशैत्यम् । स्रावो मुहुः पिच्छिल एव चापि कफाभिपन्ने नयने भवन्ति ॥८॥

Longing for warmth, heaviness, swelling of the eyes, itching, whiteness, extreme coldness, frequent slimy discharge—these are the symptoms found in an eye afflicted by the deranged Kapha.

गर्मी की चाहत, भारीपन, आंखों में सूजन, खुजली, सफेदी, अत्यधिक ठंड, बार-बार चिपचिपा स्राव - ये विकृत कफ से ग्रस्त आंख में पाए जाने वाले लक्षण हैं।

ताम्राश्रुता लोहितनेत्रता च राज्यः समन्तादतिलोहिताश्च । पित्तस्य लिङ्गानि च यानि तानि रक्ताभिपन्ने नयने भवन्ति ॥९॥

Copper-colored tears, redness of the eyes, intense redness all around, and the symptoms associated with Pitta are observed in an eye afflicted by deranged blood (Rakta).

वृद्धैरेतैरभिष्यन्दैर्नराणामक्रियावताम् । तावन्तस्त्वधिमन्थाः स्युर्नयने तीव्रवेदनाः ॥१०॥

When these types of Abhishyanda (Ophthalmia) are aggravated and left untreated in individuals, they give rise to an equal number of Adhimantha conditions in the eyes, characterized by intense pain.
