उरोविदाहज्वरवक्त्रशोषैरभ्यर्दितस्तिक्तमुखस्तृषार्तः | पित्तेन पीतानि वमेत् कटूनि कासेत् स पाण्डुः परिदह्यमानः ||९||

The symptoms of a cough caused by Pitta include a burning sensation in the chest, fever, dryness of the mouth, and a bitter taste. The patient experiences excessive thirst and may vomit bitter or acidic substances. The cough is often accompanied by a yellowish or pungent expectoration, and the person may also experience a burning sensation in the body. The individual appears pale and is in a state of physical discomfort, feeling internally heated or inflamed.

पित्त के कारण होने वाली खांसी के लक्षणों में छाती में जलन, बुखार, मुंह का सूखना और कड़वा स्वाद शामिल है। रोगी को अत्यधिक प्यास लगती है और उसे कड़वे या अम्लीय पदार्थों की उल्टी हो सकती है। खांसी के साथ अक्सर पीले या तीखे बलगम निकलते हैं और व्यक्ति को शरीर में जलन भी महसूस हो सकती है। व्यक्ति पीला दिखाई देता है और शारीरिक रूप से असहज महसूस करता है, उसे अंदरूनी रूप से गर्मी या सूजन महसूस होती है।
