शाम्यन्ति चायं चिरमन्तरग्नेर्हतस्य पुंस्त्वस्य च वृद्धिहेतुः । स्त्रीणां च वन्ध्यामयनाशनः स्यात् कल्याणको नाम गुडः प्रतीतः ॥४१॥
"This (substance) pacifies the internal fire and is the cause of long-lasting life. It is the remedy for those whose vitality is destroyed, and it is beneficial for women, preventing infertility. It is called the Kalyaṇako, meaning the one that brings auspiciousness, and is made from Guda (jaggery), which is also praised for its properties."

"यह (पदार्थ) आंतरिक अग्नि को शांत करता है और दीर्घायु का कारण है। यह उन लोगों के लिए औषधि है जिनकी जीवन शक्ति नष्ट हो गई है, और यह महिलाओं के लिए लाभदायक है, बांझपन को रोकता है। इसे कल्याणको कहा जाता है, जिसका अर्थ है शुभता लाने वाला, और यह गुड से बनाया जाता है, जिसकी इसके गुणों के लिए भी प्रशंसा की जाती है।"

hk transliteration by Sanscriptद्विपञ्चमूलेभकणात्मगुप्ताभार्गीशटीपुष्करमूलविश्वान् । पाठामृताग्रन्थिकशङ्खपुष्पीरास्नाग्न्यपामार्गबलायवासान् ॥४२॥
From the roots of Dvipa (coconut), Panchamoola, and from the hidden parts of the Bhargī, Shatī, Pushkara, Moola, and all the other mentioned plants, including the root of Pāṭhā, Amṛta, Granthi, Shankha flowers, and Rāsa from the Agni and Apāmārga, the powerful substances can be obtained.

द्वीप (नारियल) की जड़ों से, पंचमूल से, तथा भार्गी, शती, पुष्कर, मूल और अन्य सभी पौधों के गुप्त भागों से, जिनमें पाठा, अमृत, ग्रन्थि, शंख पुष्प की जड़, तथा अग्नि और अपामार्ग से प्राप्त रस भी शामिल हैं, शक्तिशाली पदार्थ प्राप्त किए जा सकते हैं।

Place the roots of Dvipālika, Yavāḍhaka, and one hundred of Harītakī, along with the heavy roots, in a vessel mixed with water. After boiling, prepare a decoction with a fourth part of pure liquid.

द्वीपिका, यावधक, हरीतकी की एक सौ जड़ों को भारी जड़ों सहित जल मिले बर्तन में डालकर उबाल लें, तथा एक चौथाई भाग शुद्ध द्रव्य लेकर काढ़ा बना लें।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptपचेत्तुलां शुद्धगुडस्य दत्त्वा पृथक् च तैलात् कुडवं घृताच्च । चूर्णं च तावन्मगधोद्भवाया देयं च तस्मिन्मधु सिद्धशीते ॥४४॥
Prepare one tola of pure jaggery, separately adding oil, a vessel, and ghee. Then, give the powder, which is made from the product of Magadha, in that mixture with honey when it is properly cooled and prepared.

एक तोला शुद्ध गुड़ तैयार करें, उसमें तेल, पात्र और घी अलग-अलग मिलाकर, फिर मगध के उत्पाद से बने चूर्ण को, अच्छी तरह ठंडा करके तैयार होने पर, शहद के साथ दें।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptरसायनात् कर्षमतो विलिह्याद्द्वे चाभये नित्यमथाशु हन्यात् । तद्राजयक्ष्मग्रहणीप्रदोषशोफाग्निमान्द्यस्वरभेदकासान् ॥४५॥
By licking the medicinal substance from a karsa (a small measure), two in number, it should be taken daily. It quickly cures the ailments such as Rajayakṣma, Grahaṇī, Pradōṣa, Śopha, Agni-manda (low digestion), Svāra-bheda (voice changes), and Kāsa.

प्रतिदिन दो कार्सा (छोटी मात्रा) चाटकर औषधि लेनी चाहिए। इससे राजयक्ष्मा, ग्रहणी, प्रदोष, शोफ, अग्निमंद (पाचन शक्ति का कम होना), स्वरभेद (आवाज का बदलना) तथा कास आदि रोग शीघ्र ठीक हो जाते हैं।
