Sushruta Samhita
विरेचनं स्नैहिकमत्र चोक्तमास्थापनं चाप्यनुवासनं च । धूमं पिबेत् स्नैहिकमप्रमत्तः पिबेत् सुखोष्णं घृतमेव चात्र ॥२७॥
Purging (Virechana), the use of unctuous substances (Snāhika), the application of medicated oils (Āsthāpana), and the practice of anointing (Anuvāsana) have been mentioned here. One should drink medicated smoke (Dhūma) and unctuous substances (Snāhika) without negligence. He should drink warm ghee with comfort.
english translation
यहाँ विरेचन, स्नेहक द्रव्यों का प्रयोग, आस्थापन तथा अनुवासन का उल्लेख किया गया है। व्यक्ति को बिना किसी लापरवाही के धूम्र तथा स्नेहक द्रव्यों का सेवन करना चाहिए। उसे आराम से गरम घी पीना चाहिए।
