तन्मूलकुसुमावापं शीतं क्षौद्रेण योजयेत् । शृङ्गीमधूलिकाभार्गीशुण्ठीतार्क्ष्यसिताम्बुदैः ॥२१॥

इसे पौधे की जड़ों, फूलों और ठण्डे पदार्थों के साथ मिश्रित किया जाना चाहिए, तथा प्रभाव बढ़ाने के लिए इसे शहद, चीनी, श्रृंगी, मधुलिका, भार्गी, शुंठी, तार्क्ष्य और अमृता के साथ मिलाया जाना चाहिए।
