मुहुर्मुहुर्वायरुदेति सस्वनो यकृत्प्लिहान्त्राणि मुखादिवाक्षिपन् | स घोषवानाशु हिनस्त्यसून् यतस्ततस्तु हिक्केति भिषग्भिरुच्यते ||६||

Repeatedly, wind (Vayu) rises, accompanied by sound, shaking the liver, spleen, and other organs, and producing a loud noise that disturbs the body. This condition is called hiccough, as described by physicians.

बार-बार, हवा (वायु) ऊपर उठती है, ध्वनि के साथ, यकृत, तिल्ली और अन्य अंगों को हिलाती है, और एक तेज़ आवाज़ पैदा करती है जो शरीर को परेशान करती है। चिकित्सकों के अनुसार इस स्थिति को हिचकी कहा जाता है।
