कृष्णां सितां चामलकं च लीढं सशृङ्गवेरं मधुनाऽथवाऽपि । कोलास्थिमज्जाञ्जनलाजचूर्णं हिक्का निहन्यान्मधुनाऽवलीढम् ॥२६॥
One should lick a mixture of black and white Amalaki, along with the horn of a rhinoceros, mixed with honey, or alternatively, a powder of the bones and marrow of a deer, to cure hiccup.

हिचकी दूर करने के लिए काले और सफेद आमलकी के मिश्रण को गैंडे के सींग के साथ शहद में मिलाकर चाटना चाहिए, या फिर हिरण की हड्डियों और मज्जा का चूर्ण चाटना चाहिए।

The fruit and flower of Patalā, Gairika, Katu-rohini, the seed of Kharjura, and Magadha, along with Kasisa (sulphate of iron) and Dadhi (curd), are beneficial for curing hiccup.

One should drink the soups made from the meat of pigeons, parrots, wild cats, goats, wild cats, and different kinds of deer, along with sour fruits, cold drinks, and those mixed with salt, as well as those made from birds and animals, which are nourishing and rich in fat.
