Through the consumption of food that is heating, heavy, binding, dry, or that causes secretion (Abhishyandi), along with cold drinks, sitting or lying in cold places, and exposure to dust, smoke, wind, and fire, the body becomes affected.

गर्म, भारी, बंधनकारक, शुष्क या अभिष्यन्दि उत्पन्न करने वाले भोजन, ठंडे पेय पदार्थों के सेवन, ठंडे स्थानों पर बैठने या लेटने, धूल, धुआं, हवा और अग्नि के संपर्क में आने से शरीर प्रभावित होता है।

Physical exercise, heavy labor, excessive movement, blows, and fatigue, along with fasting, accumulation of Ama (toxins), and aggravation of doshas, as well as the disturbance caused by excessive sexual activity, can lead to the increase of certain disorders.

शारीरिक व्यायाम, भारी श्रम, अत्यधिक गतिविधि, मारपीट और थकान के साथ-साथ उपवास, आम (विषाक्त पदार्थों) का संचय और दोषों की वृद्धि, साथ ही अत्यधिक यौन गतिविधि के कारण उत्पन्न गड़बड़ी, कुछ विकारों की वृद्धि का कारण बन सकती है।
