क्षीणस्योपद्रवैर्युक्तां सासृक्पूयां सचन्द्रिकाम् । छर्दि प्रसक्तां कुशलो नारभेत चिकित्सितुम् ॥१४॥
A skilled physician should not undertake the treatment of vomiting in a patient who is emaciated and suffering from complications such as blood in the vomit (sāsṛk pūyā), a watery discharge, and a lunar-like complexion (indicative of severe debility). This type of vomiting is associated with severe depletion of bodily strength and requires cautious management. The physician should avoid immediate intervention and carefully assess the patient's overall condition before proceeding with treatment.

एक कुशल चिकित्सक को ऐसे रोगी की उल्टी का उपचार नहीं करना चाहिए जो दुर्बल हो और उल्टी में खून (सास्रिक पूया), पानी जैसा स्राव और चंद्रमा के समान रंग (गंभीर दुर्बलता का संकेत) जैसी जटिलताओं से पीड़ित हो। इस प्रकार की उल्टी शारीरिक शक्ति की गंभीर कमी से जुड़ी होती है और इसके लिए सावधानीपूर्वक प्रबंधन की आवश्यकता होती है। चिकित्सक को तत्काल हस्तक्षेप से बचना चाहिए और उपचार शुरू करने से पहले रोगी की समग्र स्थिति का सावधानीपूर्वक आकलन करना चाहिए।
