हृद्बस्त्योरन्तरे ग्रन्थिः सञ्चारी यदि वाऽचलः । चयापचयवान् वृत्तः स गुल्म इति कीर्तितः ॥४॥
If there is a knot or obstruction between the heart and bladder, which is either movable or fixed, and causes a cyclical increase and decrease, it is said to be Gulma.

यदि हृदय और मूत्राशय के बीच कोई गांठ या अवरोध हो, जो चलायमान हो या स्थिर हो, तथा चक्रीय वृद्धि और कमी का कारण बनता हो, तो उसे गुल्म कहा जाता है।
