नान्नं वाञ्छति नो निद्रामुपैत्यर्तिनिपीडितः । पार्श्वशूलः स विज्ञेयः कफानिलसमुद्भवः ॥११९॥
He who does not desire food or sleep and is troubled by pain—such a person, suffering from pain in the side, is to be understood as having a condition caused by an imbalance of both phlegm and wind.

जो भोजन और नींद की इच्छा नहीं करता तथा दर्द से परेशान रहता है - ऐसा व्यक्ति, जिसके पार्श्व में दर्द होता है, उसे कफ और वायु दोनों के असंतुलन के कारण होने वाली स्थिति समझा जाना चाहिए।
