निवृत्तेष्वामशूलेषु यस्य न प्रगुणोऽनिलः । स्तोकं स्तोकं रुजामच्च सशूलं योऽतिसार्यते ॥५४॥
In cases where the abdominal pain has subsided, but the digestive fire is still weak, and the air (Vata) is not aggravated, in such conditions, when the patient suffers from occasional pain and discomfort, the treatment for Atisara (diarrhea) should be done in small doses.

ऐसे मामलों में जहां पेट का दर्द कम हो गया है, लेकिन पाचन अग्नि अभी भी कमजोर है, और वायु (वात) बढ़ी नहीं है, ऐसी स्थिति में, जब रोगी को कभी-कभी दर्द और परेशानी होती है, तो अतिसार (दस्त) का उपचार छोटी खुराक में किया जाना चाहिए।
