आनद्धत्वेन चात्यर्थं श्वासकासोद्गमेन च । हतप्रभेन्द्रियं क्षीणमरोचकनिपीडितम् ॥९३॥

ऐसा बुखार जो अत्यधिक कमजोरी, सांस फूलने, खांसी के साथ आता है, तथा साथ ही संवेदी अनुभूति की हानि और गंभीर मतली भी होती है, वह ऐसी स्थिति मानी जाती है जिसमें व्यक्ति की कार्यक्षमता बहुत अधिक क्षीण हो जाती है।
