पूरयित्वाऽखिलं देहं ज्वरमापादयेद्भृशम् | रोगाणां तु समुत्थानाद्विदाहागन्तुतस्तथा ||८१||

By filling the entire body, it (the disease) causes severe fever. Similarly, the onset of diseases, arising from various causes, leads to the return of burning sensations.

english translation

यह रोग सम्पूर्ण शरीर को भरकर भयंकर ज्वर उत्पन्न करता है। इसी प्रकार विभिन्न कारणों से उत्पन्न होने वाले रोगों के कारण भी जलन पुनः उत्पन्न होती है।

रक्त से जुड़े बुखार में खून थूकना, जलन, पसीना आना, उल्टी, भ्रम, प्रलाप, प्यास और लालिमा होती है। ये ऐसे लक्षण हैं जो इस प्रकार के बुखार से पीड़ित व्यक्तियों में होते हैं।

मांसपेशियों को प्रभावित करने वाले बुखार में स्पर्श के प्रति अरुचि, प्यास, असामान्य मूत्र और मल का निर्माण, आंतरिक गर्मी, जलन, गड़बड़ी और थकान होती है। ये लक्षण इस प्रकार के बुखार में प्रकट होते हैं।
