दाहवेगे त्वतिक्रान्ते तस्मादुद्धृत्य मानवम् । परिषिच्याम्बुभिः शीतैः प्रलिम्पेच्चन्दनादिभिः ॥२९०॥

जब जलन तीव्र हो जाए तो व्यक्ति को उठाकर ठंडे जल से स्नान कराना चाहिए तथा फिर चंदन आदि से उसका अभिषेक करना चाहिए।
