सुशीतैः शमयेत्तृष्णां प्रवृद्धां दाहमेव च । शीतं मधुयुतं तोयमाकण्ठाद्वा पिपासितम् ॥१८०॥
Cool water mixed with honey should be given to quench intense thirst and alleviate burning sensations. It should be drunk in small sips, either through the throat or as a gargle.
