कपोतवङ्काऽरलुको वरुणः पारिभद्रकः । आस्फोता चैव योज्याः स्युर्बालानां परिषेचने ॥३॥

A decoction of the barks of Kapota-banka, Araluka, Varuna, Paribhadraka, and Asphota should be used for sprinkling (Secana) the body of the child.

वचा वयःस्था गोलोमी हरितालं मनःशिला । कुष्ठं सर्जरसश्चैव तैलर्थे वर्ग इष्यते ॥४॥

The oil to be used for anointing (the body) should be prepared with the Kalka and decoction of Vaca, Vayastha, Golomi, Haritala, Manah-shila, Kushtha, and Sarja-rasa (resin).

अभिषेक (शरीर पर) के लिए उपयोग किए जाने वाले तेल को वाच, व्यवस्थ, गोलोमि, हरितला, मनशिला, कुष्ठ और सरजा-रस (राल) के काल्का और काढ़े से तैयार किया जाना चाहिए।

The clarified butter should be prepared with Tuga-kshiri, Kushtha, Talisha, Khadira, Chandana, and the drugs of the Madhura group, and used for anointing (the body).
