The decoction of Vilva, Shiris ha, Golomi, and the group of drugs known as Surasadi should be used in sprinkling the body for the pacification of Skandapasmara.

स्कंदपास्मर की शांति के लिए विल्व, शिरीष, गोलोमि तथा सुरसादि औषधियों के समूह का काढ़ा शरीर पर छिड़कना चाहिए।
सर्वगन्धविपक्वं तु तैलमभ्यञ्जने हितम् । क्षीरवृक्षकषाये च काकोल्यादौ गणे तथा ॥४॥
Medicated oil, duly cooked with the drugs of the Sarvagandha group, should be used for anointing the body. Similarly, clarified butter cooked with the decoction of the Kshiri tree barks and the drugs of the Kakolyadi group should be prescribed.

शरीर पर लेप करने के लिए सर्वगन्धा समूह की औषधियों के साथ विधिवत् पकाए गए औषधीय तेल का प्रयोग करना चाहिए। इसी प्रकार क्षीरी वृक्ष की छाल के काढ़े तथा काकोल्यादि समूह की औषधियों के साथ पकाए गए घी का प्रयोग करना चाहिए।
Clarified butter, when cooked, should be given for internal use along with milk. The paste of Vaca and Hingu should be used for rubbing (Utsadana) in cases of Skandagraha (possession by Skandapasmara).
